About

Apex Marine Outboard Motors LLC is an independent reseller of outboard motors based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We deal exclusively in outboard engines — new and pre-owned — from five manufacturers: Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda, and Tohatsu.

Independent by Design

We are not an authorized dealer for any brand, and we do not present ourselves as one. That independence is deliberate. It means we can compare engines across manufacturers honestly, recommend the engine that fits your boat rather than the one we are contracted to push, and source both new and quality pre-owned units without franchise restrictions.

New engines we sell are genuine factory-built units and carry the manufacturer's factory warranty — three to five years depending on the brand — with eligibility confirmed by model before purchase. Pre-owned engines go through our technicians' inspection process: compression testing, servicing, and a multi-point checklist, backed by our 90-day mechanical and compression warranty and a compression certificate shipped with the engine.

Based in Fort Lauderdale

Our operation runs out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida — one of the busiest boating markets in the country. From here we ship crated, fully insured engines across the mainland United States (3–5 business days) and internationally (7–14 business days, quoted per order). Our address is 1250 SE 17th Street, Suite 200, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, USA.

The Team

Apex Marine is led by General Manager Albert James, who oversees engine sourcing, fulfillment, and customer support. Our team brings hands-on marine technician and supply-chain experience to every order — the practical background needed to answer real questions about shaft length, transom weight, rigging compatibility, and freight logistics, not just read specifications off a page.

What We Will and Will Not Do

We will give you straight answers about which engine suits your boat, confirm compatibility with your existing rigging and controls before you buy, show freight costs up front, and support you after delivery.

We will not invent specifications, fabricate reviews, claim authorizations we do not hold, or sell you an engine we would not stand behind. If a configuration does not make sense for your boat — wrong shaft length, too much weight on the transom, controls that will not integrate — we will tell you before you spend anything.

That is the whole business model: the right engine, verified specifications, clear pricing, delivered as promised.
