New 2023 Yamaha Enduro 60 HP 2-Stroke Tiller Outboard Motor

About this engine

The Yamaha Enduro 60 is not a leisure motor with a work badge — it is the commercial backbone of Yamaha's Enduro range, the 2-stroke series Yamaha builds for fishing fleets, panga operators, water taxis and workboat crews across the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Its reputation was earned the hard way: first start every morning, fuel that is not always clean, loads that are not always light, and harbours where the nearest workshop is a long way off. A carburetted 2-stroke with no fragile electronics is exactly the tool for that life, which is why the E60 remains the default 60-horsepower choice wherever outboards earn their keep.

This unit is a brand-new 2023 Enduro 60, photographed in its factory foam crate in our Fort Lauderdale warehouse — the gallery photos are the actual stock, cowling wrap still on, with the red portable fuel tank and propeller packed in the crate with the motor. It is the tiller-steered model, and it carries the 25-inch (X) shaft: the deep-leg version that suits taller transoms and the panga and workboat hulls this engine is bought for, keeping the powerhead clear of following seas and the prop working in clean water.

The engine itself is Yamaha's proven 849 cc in-line three-cylinder 2-stroke, making its 60 horsepower at 5,000 rpm with the broad, simple torque curve working boats need. Three carburettors, pre-mixed fuel and oil, and hydro tilt — there is very little on this motor that a competent mechanic anywhere in the world cannot service with hand tools, and Enduro parts support is as deep as any outboard line ever built. At full song it runs 4,500–5,500 rpm; the rest of the time it simply works.

Who buys this motor? Commercial fishermen replacing a tired 60, panga and tour operators standardising a fleet on one serviceable model, and buyers in the Caribbean and Latin America who want a factory-original Japanese Enduro rather than a substitute — bought once, run for years. A straight note, because we put it on every listing: the Enduro range is Yamaha's commercial series for markets outside the US retail line, so if you are importing, confirm your local requirements — we ship worldwide from Fort Lauderdale and the motor travels protected in its factory crate.

Priced 22.5% below market like everything on our floor, reserved with a 35% deposit and supplied with warranty. If you run more than one boat, talk to us about multi-unit orders — matched new Enduros from the same stock are exactly what fleet buyers come to us for. WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us.

Warranty

This engine is supplied with warranty cover from Apex Marine Outboard Motors, confirmed in writing on your invoice before the balance is due. Apex Marine is an independent multi-brand reseller, not an authorized Yamaha dealer.

Good to know

Runs on pre-mixed fuel and oil at 50:1. Portable fuel tank and propeller are in the crate, as photographed. The Enduro 60 is a commercial-market model — check local rules if you plan to register it in the US.
