Overview

Mercury's 8HP FourStroke is the portable that does everything: light enough to carry, quiet enough to forget it's running, and miserly on fuel. This 2023 8MH is brand new — manual start, manual tilt, 15-inch short shaft — photographed as-crated.

It carries a 6-year factory warranty as supplied, which is exceptional cover for a portable. Perfect kicker, tender, or primary power for small boats.

What’s included

Included equipment is confirmed per unit at the time of inquiry — contact our team for the full list with this SKU.

Ideal for

Tenders, dinghies, jon boats, and kicker setups — light, simple, go-anywhere power with long warranty cover.

Compatibility notes

• Confirm your boat’s capacity plate: never exceed the maximum rated horsepower.
• Match shaft length to your transom height so the anti-ventilation plate runs at the correct depth.
• Confirm your transom and hull can support the engine’s weight.
• Controls, cables, gauges, steering components, and propellers are not included unless the listing states otherwise — we verify rigging compatibility with your boat before you buy.
