Used 2021 Yamaha VF250 VMAX SHO with 300 hours on the 25-inch shaft. Compression readings of 205 PSI are marked on the powerhead from its intake check (see the cowling-off photos). Complete engine — propeller, harnesses, and rigging included. The cowling and decals present very well and the powerhead is clean under the cowl. Photographed as offered in our Fort Lauderdale shop, including two cowling-off views of the powerhead. Supplied with a 12-month fully covered Apex Marine warranty (parts and labour).

Overview

The VMAX SHO is Yamaha’s performance flagship — a 4.2-litre V6 with variable camshaft timing (VCT) and electronic fuel injection, built for explosive hole shots and strong top-end speed. This 2021 VF250 pairs that 250 HP performance platform with the 25-inch shaft that offshore and bay boats need.

At 300 hours this engine is well inside its service life, and its intake compression readings of 205 PSI are marked on the powerhead for you to see in the photos. It is sold as a complete engine — propeller, harnesses, and rigging included — and it is covered by our own 12-month fully covered warranty, issued and honoured by Apex Marine Outboard Motors.
