The provenance is stated plainly because it explains the hours: the unit was originally installed brand new under warranty, and the customer’s motor subsequently developed a low-compression issue, so that engine was parted out. The lower unit itself was never the problem — it has only 29 hours and presents exactly as the photographs show: gloss white pearlescent finish throughout, driveshaft and water-pump housing up top, splined propeller shaft, photographed from every angle on the shop towel.
